Gourmet Gifts Canada’s Best Pastry Chef 2020, Kenta Takahashi unveils a collection of elevated and refined holiday treats, perfect for gifting. Kenta’s Stollen | $57.00 Chef Kenta’s version of the classic German loaf calls for days of labour and love along with plenty of festive spirits. This crumbly holiday treat features rum-soaked raisins, Grand Marnier soaked orange peel, brown butter, vanilla sugar, and a nutty marzipan core. Chestnut Travel Cake | $45.00 Travel cakes, designed to travel, come super moist and require no refrigeration. Therefore, this cake can be enjoyed by the slice through the season or as part the main celebration. Soaked in pear brandy and adorned with candied chestnut, this cake is pairs well with a Christmas morning cup of coffee.

Chef Kenta’s holiday desserts can be purchased for pickup on TOCK. Seasonal Sips Bar Manager, Peter Johanson presents two festive creations that are equal parts creative and delicious. Johanson mixes Creme de Cacao, Gautier VS Cognac, Chambord and oat milk to create his Raspberry Ripple Martini, which is deliciously dessert-like yet vegan and not too heavy. A serving of the Kranberry Kringle is bursting with holiday cheer; this smooth sipper features Narrative Grape Vodka, house made cranberry liqueur balanced by lightly-spiced and fruit-forward Lillet Rouge.  The holiday cocktails are available for $16.00 each until December 25.
